Set in the beautifully preserved old town of Garachico, the Romería de San Roque is widely considered one of the prettiest pilgrimages on the island. The historic streets fill with decorated ox-carts, folk groups and locals in traditional Canary costume offering wine and food to onlookers. Garachico is small and parking is very limited, so arrive early or come by bus.
